They are one of the healthiest grains you can eat! Note: they take longer to cook. They are great for meal prep to make ahead and refrigerate (just leave out the fruit and milk to add later)

It is simple to make with few ingredients and all you need to do is prep the veggies, throw it in the crock post with the chicken, spices, herbs, and broth then leave it and forget it. Noodles are added at the end. This recipe uses egg noodles which are a great healthy alternative. You can also use chickpea or quinoa noodles.
